Magnolia Mood

When this set was first released and I layed eyes on it, I hesitated for a second and then kept scrolling!

I know right.

I thought to myself "nope, I dont think I will use that" and I was very unsure whether to get it.

Well wasnt I all sorts of wrong!

It only takes 1 card, that you stumble upon on Pinterest and boom....add to cart!

I saw something similar to this one so I CASE'd it and changed a few elements.

It's such an elegant set and who would have thought that Pebbled Path, Basic White, Vellum and Gold would be a stunning combo.

I'm a bit disappointed that Vellum is retiring, I have no idea why, it's so versatile.

Just a tip, when cutting the Magnolia Dies in white, use Thin White cardstock, not think and make sure to do several passes back and forth through the cutting machine to ensure you get a clean cut through the cardstock. You will need a sharp pokey tool to poke out all the bits.

I love this card and I can't wait to send it to someone.

Lets Chat!

Who doesn't love a good chin wag?

It's important, particularly nowadays with life being so hectic that we stay connected. Having a good chat on the phone with friends or family can really turn around a bad day and make us feel so much better.

So when I saw this stamp set, I immediately saw fun so I set about CASEing one of Stampin' Up!s cards made with this set.

Now I really do love a good chat so this set is very appropriate for me. I remember my mum telling me that in school, my reports would come back that I was a great student but she talks way too much lol

I think this card would be perfect to send to someone maybe you need to check in with, someone you havent spoken to for a while and would like to reconnect with.

Filled With Fun Bundle

Isn't this a bit cute?

This bundle is so fun to play with and it was released in the last Online Exclusives offering in March.

I made this one with in a crafty sesh with my team

This is actually CASE'd straight from Stampin' Up! and I chose to case it because this card can be used for many occasions. I mean who doesn't love a cart full of flowers?

Perfect for Mothers Day, Birthdays, Thinking of You and lots more.

The cart itself was stamped and die cut out and then popped up on dimensionals for depth.

I stamped the flowers in Gray Granite and then coloured the flowers with blends. The flags on the cart were also stamped and die cut.

Finished off with some Iridescent Foil Gems and this is such a cute card. I'm very happy with it and can't wait to send it to someone.

Flowering Zinnias

Every now and then I like to make a fun fold and this one caught my eye.

Sometimes these fancy folds can be quite fiddly and they hurt my head just thinking about all the measurements.

But this one is super easy and fun.

I decided to use the Online Exclusive Flowering Zinnias DSP, one of my faves as it's so bright and vibrant.

One thing I love about Stampin' Up!s designer papers is that they are double sided. So if you don't like the pattern on one side, there is always the other.

This particular card is also a great way to show off both sides or different designs in a pack.

I love how this card opens and this fold leaves plenty of space inside to write a message. I've also used the coordinating Zinnias Bundle to stamp a floral image in the bottom right corner on the inside for some extra interest.

I do love a Belly Band! It's something different and adds another element of interest to a card.

Now I'm not sure the exact name of this card so let's just call it a Double Gate Fold card.

This would make a perfect Mothers Day card which is coming up in Australia next month!
